The Tonight Show w/
Johnny Carson, Alice Cooper interview and performs w/ Chickens – “Lace & Whiskey” Other guest Jay Leno, Joseph Wambaugh This is the promo of “Lace & Whiskey” album when Alice introduces his new character Maurice Escargot. Alice’s interview w/ Johnny was good as he talks about the new tour, album and some funny stories. Then later performs on stage alone w/ 4 dancers dressed as Chickens. If ever there was a time when Alice “Jumped The Shark” this would be it. 2 Eyes for the performance but the quality is very good. This episode includes the nation wide commercials w/ space for local broadcasters. Interesting to see Jay Leno’s third time appearance. Who would of thought Jay would later be hosting. Also not noted in the credits was High School students who have been in Bird Caller contest. |
