Blue Coupe – Tornado
On The Tracks (Dennis Dunaway)
Blue Oyster Cult’s Joe & Al Bouchard, Alice Cooper Bass Dennis Dunaway Guest The Doors, Robby Krieger on 2 tracks Dennis Dunaway wrote 4 tracks and sings lead on his “Waiting For My Ship” Dennis collaborated on a number of projects w/ former BOC members. Such as Deadringer, Buck Dharma, XBrothers, and BDS. I have to say this is one of the best collaborations. Right away “You (like vampires)” is a very catchy song followed by “Angel’s Well” it’s pretty much BOC influenced. Dennis Dunaway solely wrote 4 tracks “God I Need You Tonight”, “Untamed Youth”, “Waiting For My Ship”, “On The Darkest Night” and collaborated w/ Albert & Joe on “Tornado Warning”. Dennis also sings lead on “Waiting For My Ship”. You also have guest Robby Krieger from The Doors on “Angel’s Well” and “Man Up” The Byrds “Dolphin’s Smile” seem to break up the theme as a sort of intermission track. From cdbaby: debut record of Blue Coupe, the reunion of Albert and Joe Bouchard, of Blue Öyster Cult, on drums and guitar respectively, and bassist, Dennis Dunaway of the Alice Cooper Group with guests, Door's Robby Krieger and Tish & Snooky. Dennis has recorded several albums with Joe Bouchard, including Back From Hell by Bouchard Dunaway and Neal Smith, original Alice Cooper group drummer. Blue Coupe have combined their songwriting skills to record Tornado on the Tracks featuring such guest stars as Tish and Snooky from the Sic F*cks and Robby Krieger from the Doors.
