Track
7. Ghost Of Brian Jones |
Richie Scarlet (Dunaway/Smith)
- The Insanity Of Life
From Scarlet's second solo release has Neal Smith
on drums and Dennis Dunaway on bass for one track titled "Ghost
Of Brian Jones" about one of Richie's rock n' roll idols. The song,
a tribute to Brian Jones with Stones reference on this track. Neal Smith
drumming is always exceptional. Dennis Dunaway on bass doesn't have
a chance to show off his talent. Richie does some mean guitar work on
this track. But it's not one of the best tracks on this CD. He does
a good cover of Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" if anyone is interested.
Richie's first solo CD" Wise Guy From New York" is much better.
There are other guests on "The Insanity Of Life" CD such as
Kiss's Ace Frehley, Mountain's Leslie West, King X's Ty Tabor among
some others. |
