Stripshow – Late Nite Cult Show, (Dennis Dunaway)
Remastered, 2006
Stripshow only recording in 1996 titled “Late Nite Cult Show,” this rock-opera which was banned by the Korean government for ”immoral” lyrics and message.
Later considered a somewhat cult status recording for it’s 10th anniversary they remastered the original recordings and included alternative mixes and some unreleased tracks. Also including the original “Where Are We Now?” video.
Stripshow also added a new song “Here Comes The Spider” originally written in ’97 but rewrote the lyrics and recorded it w/ guest bass Dennis Dunaway.

“Spooks” choir gives this a spookier sound as they wail through like some religious soundtrack.
I love Freaks” which sounds like a collaboration of two songs, as they sing

I’m dying but I ain’t crying
For me, this ain’t no world,
I ain’t no freak!…

“Here Comes The Spider” w/ guest bass Dennis Dunaway has very Black Sabbath sound to it. I think it’s the vocals that do it especially during the chorus part of the song. Another coincidence of title as Alice releases in ’08 “Along Came a Spider.”

Stripshow:
Gudmundur Alsteinsson: Lead Vocals
Ingo Geirdal: Guitars, Bass & Piano
Silli Geirdal: Bass, Vocals, Guitars and Keyboards
Bjarki Magnusson: Drums and Percussion
