Dimma– Stigmata (Dennis Dunaway)
Dimma has a very haunting sound to them that just makes them a complying band to listen too. I first heard of this band from Michael Bruce’s “Halo of Ice” CD. Ingo Geirdal’s guitar was amazing and was one of the best backing band Bruce ever have toured with.
Dimma has a sort of Tool sound as well as those classis 70’s bands like Black Sabbath. Even the track “Mama” which is one of Iceland native band Sugarcubes song sounds a bit like Eddie Vedder backed by Tool.
One of my favorite tracks is “Masterplan” which just pulls you in and knocks you around.

…YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD THE MASTERPLAN
TO FUCK WITH ME
AND ALL MY FRIENDS
BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO TURN IT 'ROUND
AND PUT YOU SIX FEET UNDERGROUND…

Dennis Dunaway co-wrote & bass on “Desert Nightwish”. It’s interesting to note that back in “Killer” recordings Michael Bruce wrote “Desert Night Thing” that Alice later change the lyrics to became “Desperado.”
These 2 songs are not related just thought the title were similar but anyway “Desert Nightwish” sound a bit Zepplinish especially the instrumental part of the song. This could even sound like a song from Dennis Dunaway Project.
