Keepin' Halloween Alive (iTune Single)
Shout! Factory and Alice Cooper announced an exclusive alliance to bring Alice Cooper as brand-new Halloween single, ”Keepin’ Halloween Alive”, to the digital music entertainment marketplace. The announcement was made by Shout! Factory founding partner and COO Bob Emmer.

Under its agreement with Cooper, Shout! Factory will be the exclusive digital media distributor for Alice Cooper as new single, Keepin’ Halloween Alive, as well as the track‘s bonus Karaoke (aka Cooperoke) version for digital music downloads. It comes with a 'cover' booklet in pdf format w/ lyrics and credits plus cool art.

Keepin Halloween Alive, was co-written and co-produced by Cooper with Piggy D. (a member of Rob Zombie’s band), who played rhythm guitar/backup vocals. Dave Pino (Powerman 5000) is featured on lead guitar, and David Spreng (Bob Dylan, The Bravery) on drums. Of the recording, Cooper says, “We played it live as a band to capture the vibe. It was the easiest work I think any of us have ever done, not to mention a blast!”

Download at iTunes.

Released on 9.29.09, Keepin’ Halloween Alive has that Dirty Diamonds sound.
Very fast garage sounding sort of Iggy Pop-ish. Alice known for his anthem songs I can see this being performed during the Halloween season.

The Keepin’ Halloween Alive (Cooperoke Mix ) the karaoke version is for you who like to sing along w/ the new tune.

Artwork: I love the art work. A PDF format you download along w/ the single. It reminds me of the old advertisements you see in your vintage comic books or monster magazines. The cover resembles the old Halloween costumes you bought at Woolworth's. You know the ones in the cardboard box and cutout cover to show the plastic mask that made you sweat w/ the spaghetti thin elastic that barely held on.
The inside back are the credits and lyrics. The artwork is consist of fake advertisements like Monster Rings and to promote his latest tour title a plastic Theatre of Death Guillotine for only .98 cents.

T he back cover list the tracks w/ Alice's face used during the Theatre of Death tour promos. They also include art of the inside CD holder.
Very well done except for the proportions. If you scale them down to fit a CD case the size is off.
