Groovie Ghoulies
 1970 Saturday "Mourning" cartoons w/ these lovable & creepy characters. This was a spin off from Sabrina The Teenage Witch. That's the original Sabrina that was also a spin off from Archie's cartoon and comics. Groovie Ghoulies was just short skits for the attention deficit. It was an animated version of Laugh-In, quick gags and jokes. Groovie Ghoulies w/ voices by Howard Morris and Larry Storch just 2 of the famous voice overs on Saturday Morning cartoons. Each episode included 2 songs by The Groovie Ghoulies a sort of Archies band. The Groovie Ghoulies aren't bad for a sugar pop band. The extras include approximately a 10 minute interview w/ Alice Cooper. Alice plays along w/ the gag and talks about how he can relate to Count Drac. Also adds some comments on the band The Groovie Ghoulies. In all it's for fun. |
