Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts
Club Band Well if you read my review of the soundtrack it pretty much carries over to the movie. The only good part is Alice singing "Because" and Aerosmith singing "Come Together". Other than that not much to say but how can you make Beatle songs suck so much. |

Sextette A musical film released in 1979. This film includes Mae West last performance as she has a number of guest star musicians like Alice, Ringo, Keith Moon. Then actors Timothy Dalton, Dom Deluise and Tony Curtis. Pretty bad numbers through out the whole movie. Alice comes in at the final scene of the movie as a Bell Hop who sits down behind the piano and starts to sing "Next, Next" to Mae West. There was talk that Alice was to sing another song titled "No Time For Tears" but Mae West didn't think her character would be crying over a man. So they opted for "Next, Next" which is very poppy sounding. |

The Muppet Show This comes with two episodes. The first one is with Vincent Price which is very funny. Then again any Muppet episode is entertaining. The second is with Alice Cooper as he performs three numbers "Welcome To My Nightmare", "You & Me" and "School's Out" as the final song. The Muppets fit very well into Alice's theatrics as some of them looked to fit into his concert such as the "School's Out" number. The sketches between the songs are very good as Alice try's to get some of the Muppets to sign a contract with the devil. Very humorous for the Halloween episode. filmed July 1978 aired November 3, 1978. Released on VHS 1996. |
