SUCK 
A middle aged band called The Winners having been
playing local bars for years and are trying to give it one more try
of making big before calling it quits. When their bass player, Jennifer
ends up being bitten by a vampire (Dimitri Coats) the band starts to
get noticed. The big attraction now is the hot looking bass player.
Of course when you’re a vampire you need blood to survive then
the rest of the band wants to become vampires so Jennifer assist them.
Now as they tour they are leaving a trail of bloodless dead bodies.
Meantime vampire hunter Eddie Van Helsing (Malcolm McDowell) is tracking
them down.
During this time they run across plenty of guest such as Alice Cooper
who is a bartender but little do they know he’s a vampire too.
Alice’s part is very good & they make him very scary looking
at the crossroad scene. Alice’s daughter Calico appears as the
bar maid. Iggy Pop plays former musician who they use his equipment
to record some demos. Rollins is the fast talking DJ you hear through
out the movie. Moby plays Beef a rocker who’s pretty arrogant.
Alex Lifeson plays a border security guard at Canadian border.
This isn’t a bad story as horror movies go plus you some dark
humor along w/ some spinal tap scenes. On the DVD case it reads it has
the potential to become a cult classic. I think it has the potential.
The music is all original most of the songs are done by the director
& staring actor Rob Stefaniuk. Plus Dimitri Coats from Burning Brides
includes a video of “Flesh And Bone”. The DVD also includes
the making of the movie and Alice appears a number of times through
out.
