Welcome To My Nightmare
Taken at Wembley Pool, London, England, this concert footage from September 1975. I found this video through a rock magazine but forget which one. I assume it must of been a British publication if I had to guess it must of been "Kerrang!" back in the days when they where a real metal magazine. I did find some bad editing such as during the instrumental performance with Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter but besides that this was an excellent concert. Also it would be the beginning of Alice's solo career. You can see how he expanded his stage show to more of a Broadway performance. In fact this was directed, produced and choreographed by David Winters who played The Jets gang member 'Action' in "West Side Story" a favorite of Alice's. At the end of the movie it includes some footage of fans outside the arena giving praise to Alice Cooper.

Welcome To My Nightmare (Reissued)
Re-released by Rhino it's the same as the above with a few quarks. I notice they edited certain scenes this is why I only gave it 3 eye rating. Example such as during "Some Folks" and censoring out the word "hell" during "Department of Youth" song. I asked Brian Nelson and I was told is that this may have been the only film Rhino had to copy from this concert.
What I did like on the DVD version is the the commentary with Alice and his assistant Brian Nelson as they walk you through the whole concert. I found this very funny such as when the Cyclops comes out Alice injects "If we came out with a kitchen sink we would still get the same effect". Just pointing out they had everything in the show but the kitchen sink.
The DVD also includes an interview with Alice Cooper.
I would suggest to get the DVD for the extras but see the old VHS for the concert.
