Hard -N- Heavy, vol 1
1989, came a great media of using VHS as a music magazine. Hard-n-Heavy was the best thing to come on VHS and promoted the metal bands of the times. This 1st volume Alice gives a brief interview and they show some clips of Alice in the section titled "Legends On Film" . The rest of the tape is pretty good to watch with artist such as Ozzy, Anthrax, Lemmy, Dio, to name a few and some funny uncensored cartoons. |

Hard -N- Heavy, vol 3 Alice appears in the "Trick or Treat" section of this volume. Alice goes through a large sack and pulls out certain items which some pertain to his career and some funny objects. Alice gives a good performance of just ad libs and comments. |

Metal Head video magazine Another Hard-n-Heavy spin off on Heavy Metal VHS tapes this one called Metal Head is just as good. Only problem is it's a short segment of Alice promoting the movie "Shocker" at the Shocker premier party. Dave Mustaine is also with Alice as Alice throws the switch on the electric chair in which Dave is sitting in. You wonder why I give this 3 eyes well it's the rest of the VHS that I also enjoy. One section is a cool Thunder Warrior heavy metal animation from Japan. Also some other artist like Salty Dog, EZO, Little Caesar plus interview with artist Robert Williams who did Guns n Roses controversial album cover. |

Prime Cuts One of the best documentary of Alice Cooper. this includes interviews with Alice, Shep Gordon, Bob Ezrin, Ozzy and Slash. Also some outstanding footage of Alice performing with the Original band as this goes all the ways through "Hey Stoopid" album which covers up to 1991. |

Waynes World What can one say other than "We're not worthy" a famous line that will always be quoted. This classic comedy films is one of the best so far that Alice has acted in. It also hit number one in movie ratings. Alice makes a brief appearance as himself as characters Wayne and Garth go backstage to meet Alice and the band. Alice talks about the history of Milwaukee like he's conducting a History class. The backstage segment is worth seeing. During the concert segment Alice is singing "Feed My Frankenstein" which is not show in it entirety. As a whole picture this is an excellent comedy. |

British Rock Symphony A musical tribute to The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin. Along with the BRS some of the musicians who sing these covers are Roger Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Paul Young to name a few or just worth mentioning. Alice sings Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" and The Who "5:15" with some help from Roger Daltrey. This number is very well done and really enjoy seeing Alice sing one of my favorite Who songs and with Daltrey. Besides Alice's appearance the rest of this concert is pretty boring. |

Brutally Live Well if you read my "Brutal Planet" CD review you will know I think this one of Alice's best records. Alice takes his dark story of "Brutal Planet" to the stage. Almost like Blade Runner the musical as the stage is covered with debris of human bones, torn down buildings, abandon cars. Alice is playing with one of the finest backing bands in a long time. They play the classic hits as well but give it a fresh sound. |

The Alice Cooper Story Prime Cuts Special Edition 2 disc set The deluxe set is even better as the second disc has footage from VH-1 Behind The Music interview with the Original Band members and some cool concert footage from "Raise Your Fist And Yell" tour which is also a rare find. One thing I don't like is the "Snakes & Ladders" game on the 2nd DVD that you have to go through to view all the clips & concert footage. There is a way to skip all that & just view the whole interview and concert footage w/ out any interruptions. Using your DVD remote control, manually input Title 2 and Chapter 1. Or another way is... Use the GO TO button on your remote (or similar looking button) and manually enter the Title 2 and Chapter 1. Ignore the menu that comes up when the disc loads. Good Luck! |

The Attic Expeditions Two Left Shoes Films presents this psychodrama but only makes this more confusion than the mental patients in the asylum. Alice makes a cameo 10 minutes near the start of the show. Alice plays a patient who was trying to escape. He has a comical part in this film. Other than that Seth Greene who is the only actor worth watching in the rest of the film. It's one of these movies that ends where it starts. Pretty bad. |

Groovie Ghoulies 1970 Saturday "Mourning" cartoons w/ these lovable & creepy characters. This was a spin off from Sabrina The Teenage Witch. That's the original Sabrina that was also a spin off from Archie's cartoon and comics. Groovie Ghoulies was just short skits for the attention deficit. It was an animated version of Laugh-In, quick gags and jokes. Groovie Ghoulies w/ voices by Howard Morris and Larry Storch just 2 of the famous voice overs on Saturday Morning cartoons. Each episode included 2 songs by The Groovie Ghoulies a sort of Archies band. The Groovie Ghoulies aren't bad for a sugar pop band. The extras include approximately a 10 minute interview w/ Alice Cooper. Alice plays along w/ the gag and talks about how he can relate to Count Drac. Also adds some comments on the band The Groovie Ghoulies. In all it's for fun. |
